Halloween Adventures

For Halloween we wanted to get out of the house and we thought we should go to a local pumpkin patch. We did not go for actual pumpkins, we went for the promise of fun and adventure posted on the website. Other than being a particularly warm day we had a good time watching Gman play and explore in the outdoors.

We first hopped on a hay ride that went through the woods. Gman loved the pumpkins that dotted the path.

After the hay ride we went to the petting zoo. This picture shows Gman's feelings toward actually touching the animals. He is all about looking but no touching.

You can't tell what he is pointing to but it is a stinky pig. He just kept pointing to them, giving us that face and adamantly tried to tell us something. Too bad we can't understand him but I think he was saying, "that furry animal smells like my diapers."

I tried to atleast get him to pet the rabbit but he followed a strict self imposed no touchy touchy rule.
There was another rabbit in there that I tried to pick up because the website said you could hold them but it was a demon beast and scratched the meat from my arms. Ouch.

We got to sit on some real tractors and Gman pretended to steer it around the farm. Yee hah!

They had pumpkins to purchase lying on the ground but Gman was using them as drums. He kept walking from one to another hitting them as hard as he could. Not sure the sales people appreciated it but we sure were laughing.

When it was time to go we all got to take a little pumpkin home for free. Gman just kept carrying his back and forth. I should've taken a picture but we got a pumpkin family with a daddy, mommy and baby gourd.

To complete our Halloween adventure we stopped at Pop's which is a gas station/diner/soda store. They sell hundreds of random sodas that you didn't even know existed. They also sell Dr. Pepper made with real sugar and it tastes like a liquid dessert. Come visit and you can have your own taste of deliciousness.
