September Already?

Wow,

it seems like it only been a few days

since I updated August,

Oh wait......

September was quite a busy,

event filled,

picture worthy month

Too bad the camera is still AWOL

Thank Heaven for the HTC

(I feel like I should get some sort of kickback

for my amazing salesman skills.

Since I am sure many of you

have now considered buying one)

The start of September brought

the start of School for our Little Man

He has been ready to start school

and get time away from mom

for over a year now.

He wanted to go so bad last year

but there was no room at the inn.

The ability to go this year brought so much joy

that he (and I)

wish that he could go everyday

instead of the measly two days

we signed up for.

This is sister on the first day of school too

We dropped GMan off and went to the store,

just the two of us,

pretty much because we could.

We ran into two other moms doing the same thing

Totally Awesome.

Little Miss marked a new milestone today as well

First time in a shopping cart

without her car seat.

Doesn't she look so little?!?!?!

A couple days after school started

we also got to begin our soccer season

We tried to harness the power

of the Packer's hat

but alas

our sweet natured kid

did not become an instant

hardcore,

tear down the competition

soccer player.

instead,

he would run up and down the field

on the outskirts of the group

too nice to shove his way in.

We have been trying to roughen him up ever since.

It's not working

He would still rather

tickle the other kids

than shove them to ground

like we've been teaching :)

He's only 3,

we'll work on him

There's nothing like watching a little You Tube before bed

This particular night I was getting frustrated

with the 3 year old

The Man pulled out his phone

found "The Cars Song" (according to G)

or "Life is a Highway" (to everyone else)

and him and sister

together

watched the music video

It allowed me to calm my nerves

and have a much better bed time

Way to go Man,

the Crack Berry saved the day!

This is simply for your enjoyment

And who wouldn't want to see this?

Plus, the flash makes them look like they're glowing

It took me four months to remember where it was.

Here goes,

Let's think way back to the month of May.

We blessed Layla

family came to town

I chopped off my hair

a baby elephant was born at the zoo

and we had a tornado head right for our house

Yup,

looking back helps me remember

that the camera

and the pictures of all of our belongings on it

got put in our fire box

along with all of our other

"Necessary to have in case your house gets blown away"

belongings.

Apparently someone forgot to take it out

once the tornado passed

without destroying our house.

Oops

Seriously, I blame new baby brain

or The Man

cause those are my two easiest targets right now

Either way

we can now take "real"

(probably just as good as the HTC)
