Oops He Did It Again
For the THIRD night in a row the little man pooped in the bath. The only guess I have is that the bath is extremely relaxing to him. Maybe if we start using cold water he will control his bum a bit better. Too bad I'm not that mean. The funny thing is, he doesn't seem to care. He grunts, maybe turns a little pink in the face, poop comes out, and then he is splashing around like nothing ever happened. Thinking about it now, it's a little disgusting. He would take a poop bath and not know any better, good thing I am such a nice mommy who doesn't want my baby covered in various forms of bacteria. As entertaining as bath have been does anybody know how to discourage poop in the tub? The Man's only suggestions have been to duct tape his pooper or bathing him in a diaper. Please help!
Welcome to Mommyhood
For the last two nights the little man has pooped in the bathtub! You know you love your kid when you fish out chunks of waste and put them in the toilet. On top of that, the little guy got sick last night and vomited ALL OVER ME! It covered the front of my torso, my entire right thigh and butt and I was also sitting in a huge puddle of it. I felt so bad for the baby. I went and got us both changed and put him in bed before cleaning up the couch. It was like wiping up stinky pudding. Sorry, I hope nobody is eating right now. I think if I could handle the last two days I can handle any of the disgusting things that life as a mommy might hand me. Bring it on!

6 Month Update
Well, I tok the Little Man to his 6 month doctor appointment yesterday and the results are in.
Weight - 17 lbs 13 oz (50%)
Height - 27 7/8 inches (90%)
Head Circumference - 17 5/8 inches (75% but looks like 175%, it's a cute huge noggin)
The kid was a trooper. He was getting three shots for immunizations but the doctor also wanted him to get a flu shot since everyone in the world is sick right now. So two nurses stabbed him twice each. When they did it the first time he got this huge frown, his face turned bright red and then did the "I'm holding my breath cry". He continued to hold his breath through the next set of shots and even still when the nurse picked him up. She tried to get him to breathe and I told her to just hand him over and as soon as she did he inhaled, whimpered a little and was done!! What a STUD! The nurses we shocked. They couldn't believe that he didn't cry anymore and about three seconds later he was back to flirting with them with his sweet smiles. What a lucky mommy I am. It was then into the car where he fell asleep for a nice, long, tylenol aided nap. Glorious.

Again
Is there a quota on how many colds you can have in one winter? I was hoping so because then I could plan on not getting any more. Once again the Little Man and I woke up with stuffy noses and he is his cute little fussy self. One more reason that I can't wait to leave for AZ. I heard it gets up to the 80's there. Shorts on my pasty white legs, here we come!

Cupid already did his job!
The more we are married the less romantic we are on Valentine's Day, and I'm okay with that. This year we spent the weekend babysitting some of the coolest kids in our ward while their parents went to NY and we had a blast! The Little Man never had to entertain himself, and neither did I for that matter.
I know many of you got little presents, dinner dates or even weekend trips but I did not. Who would have ever thought that the selfish in me would ever be fine with not getting more stuff for any reason. I have changed my mind about gifts. Instead of flowers (which die anyway) and chocolate (that I don't want) I would rather have the money go toward the cruise that I really want to go on next year. (Keeping my fingers crossed) Instead, on V Day The Man told me "Everyday with you is like Valentines Day." Let's hear the "awwwww, that's so cute!" I love my man! Being mushy, lovey-dovey is so fun and for those of you who are disgusted, go throw up now.

Missionaries!
We had the newest Washington DC missionaries stop by our house on their way eastward. It was so great to see my mom and dad one more time before they start their two years of service in our nations capital. The Little Man could not get enough of them. In the short time they were here we got extremely spoiled with some new baby toys, dinner and dessert. THANK YOU grandma and grandpa for the great visit. We sure are going to miss you lots and lots.

Warmth
There was such a fabulous heat wave that swept through our neck of the woods last weekend. On Saturday we went to the outdoor outlet mall and did a little shopping and a lot of walking. It was amazing that we didn't need coats or scarves but sunglasses were a must.

Isn't he so AWESOME?!?!?!

Isn't he so AWESOME?!?!?!The weather even got up to the 60's on Tuesday and the Little Man and I went on not one but two long walks that day. I sure do appreciate the little reprieve from winter but it's almost torture to now have to wait for spring. Thanks goodness for the trip to AZ we have planned or I just might go crazy!
