Sorry the pics are fuzzy, I took them through our windows/screens because I am not about to venture into 9 degree (but feels like -10) weather just to take photos.
This is our front walkway. Where those lights are should be a little brick wall and near the bottom of the pic should be our front porch. Both have disappeared. :)
This is a little table on our back porch. This is probably an accurate level of snow we got because this spot is protected from the wind. Once again, this reminds me of Chicago.
Right now The Man is out shoveling the front walkway, bless his heart. And this is how G supports him, by turning it into a spectator sport.
Thanks Dad!

We got the "cold air" part of this storm yesterday. 1/4 inch of the white stuff and it was pretty much gone that afternoon. You guys were kind enough to add in the "Gulf tropical moisture" part. What a nice present you gave yourselves! Enjoy the day(s) home.
You go G-man! Way to cheer on your dad!
That is impressive...we are just getting ice storms which are the dumbest weather form ever.
Zowie Wowie. I hope nobody has to drive in that. Stay home and drink hot chocolate. I think you have some. Stay safe! NanaP
WHOA!
We are in blizzard of the century where Tom Skilling (WGN's weather guy) is threatening 20 inches of snow tomorrow. Everything is shut down. the mayor called to say "stay inside". the grocery store was a MAD HOUSE today as people were stocking up.
tonight it's totally blowing SOOO FIERCE it's woken up the kids. cold. ugly.
but, you know that trait about Chicago weather...they can warn us about how bad it is, and we may only get a couple inches. awesome.
so, it would do you well to stay tuned and SEE if this is blizzard of the century (or at least the worst in 53 years).
Although, if this storm system dumped all that snow on you, maybe Tom's not so far from the truth.
HAVE FUN PLAYING IN IT!!! And take your camera outside so we can all see :) You do have snow gear for G, right?
